August 27, 2024: ANNOUNCEMENT: October 2024 Auction Documents Posted to the CBP Website; RSVP for Webcast on September 5, 2024
On January 6, 2023, AEP Ohio filed an Application seeking to implement its fifth Electric Security Plan (“ESP V”) for a period to commence on June 1, 2024 (Case No. 23-0023-EL-SSO). Through an April 3, 2024 Opinion and Order, the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio (“Commission”) modified and approved the stipulation filed in the case and authorized AEP Ohio to implement ESP V for the period June 1, 2024 through May 31, 2028.
The upcoming October 2024 Auction under AEP Ohio’s ESP V will seek to procure 12-month, 24-month, and 36-month products each with supply periods starting on June 1, 2025. The October 2024 Auction is scheduled for Tuesday, October 29, 2024.
The Auction Manager will be holding a webcast to review the changes under the ESP V, to explain qualification requirements, as well as to review contract terms and the rules of the auctions. The webcast is scheduled for Thursday, September 5, 2024, at 3 PM EPT. Please RSVP by clicking here.
