January 11, 2024: ANNOUNCEMENT: March 2024 Auction Scheduled for 12-Month Product; RSVP for Webcast on January 18, 2024

On January 10, 2024, the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio (“Commission”) granted AEP Ohio’s Motion for Interim Relief to conduct a March 2024 Auction for full requirements supply for its SSO customers. The March 2024 Auction will seek to procure 50 tranches of a 12-month product with a supply period starting on June 1, 2024. The auction will be held consistent with the competitive bidding process approved in AEP Ohio’s ESP IV. The March 2024 Auction is scheduled for Tuesday, March 5, 2024. The deadline for submission of the Part 1 Application to apply to become a Qualified Bidder is 12 PM (noon) Eastern Prevailing Time on Wednesday, January 31, 2024. The CBP Auction Manager will be holding a webcast to explain qualification requirements, as well as to review contract terms and the rules of the auction.
