On September 20, 2023, the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio (“Commission”) granted AEP Ohio’s Motion for Interim Relief to conduct a November 2023 Auction for full requirements supply for its SSO customers. The November 2023 Auction will seek to procure 50 tranches of a 12-month product with a supply period starting on June 1, 2024. The auction will be held consistent with the competitive bidding process approved in AEP Ohio’s ESP IV. The November 2023 Auction is scheduled for Tuesday, November 28, 2023. The deadline for submission of the Part 1 Application to apply to become a Qualified Bidder is 12 PM (noon) Eastern Prevailing Time on Monday, October 23, 2023.
