The Sample Pre-Bid Letter of Credit has been updated to correct a typographical error. The Sample Pre-Bid Letter of Credit, dated January 3, 2014 and posted to the Information - Documents page of the CBP website, corrects the following in paragraph 8:
OLD:
This Letter of Credit is not transferable, and except as otherwise expressly stated herein, is subject to the Uniform Customs and Practices for Documentary Credits
NEW:
This Letter of Credit is not transferable, and except as otherwise expressly stated herein, is subject to the Uniform Customs and Practice for Documentary Credits
Bidders may use either the document dated December 11, 2013 or January 3, 2014 when requesting modifications to the Pre-Bid Letter of Credit in conjunction with their Part 1 Applications. However, bidders must use the document posted on January 3, 2014 for purposes of presenting their executed Pre-Bid Letter of Credit along with their Part 2 Applications.
